Decarbonised energy

Our company develops energy projects to contribute to the ecological transition of industry and society.

Development of green energy

GHyGA is an engineering company based in Drôme (near Valence), which offers studies and support in project management. It specialises in low-carbon and renewable energies and is positioned as a modest but motivated player in the energy transition. It contributes to meeting the multiple challenges of climate change, environmental quality and energy supply, with innovative ideas, around the development of “green energy” projects, to transform industry and society.

Its overarching principles are to :

  • Replace the use of fossil fuels with renewable energy.
  • Contribute to climate protection by reducing the carbon footprint.
  • Diversify the supply of emission-free energy, in particular through the production and supply of Green Hydrogen (gH2), Green Ammonia (gNH3) and their derivatives.

Who are we?

Through their past professional activities in the photovoltaic and nuclear sectors, the co-founders of GHyGA (Green Hydrogen Gas Applications), Peter Bamberg and Pierre Maccioni, have accompanied for many years the technological industrial efforts in France and Europe to develop decarbonised energy.

Trying to widen access to available energy resources, they seek to promote innovative projects. In particular, they have been developing innovative ideas around Renewable Marine Energies (RME) for several years.

Why Hydrogen and Ammonia with GHyGA?

To ensure “zero emission” energy production

Replacing fossil fuels with renewables avoids the huge amounts of CO2, which disrupt the earth’s climate.

To exploit the potential of marine energy

Wind and current energy at sea are inexhaustible. Moreover, they are powerful, partially predictable and controllable, without generating the slightest CO2 emissions.

To promote a virtuous industrial transition

Hydrogen and ammonia are energy pillars of the industry. Innovative technologies will enable them to compete with fossil fuels.

To store and transport energy without emissions

The distribution of H2 and NH3 by established and regulated means does not represent new safety risks.

Our projects in development

The projects under development aim to industrialise the production, storage and distribution of Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia.

The 2W2H2 project®

(Wind & Water to Hydrogen)

Marine energies are renewable and inexhaustible sources, of which wind and marine currents are the best known and most “controllable” (swell and waves are also worthy of interest).

The 2W2NH3 project®

(Wind & Water to Ammonia)

Green Ammonia (gNH3) can become the cornerstone of a decarbonisation of industry. Hydrogen and Ammonia can reduce the share of fossil fuels to less than 20% of total energy compared to 80% today.

GHyGA solutions

GHyGA has developed and optimised innovative production lines for Green Hydrogen (gH2) and Green Ammonia (gNH3). The kinetic energies of wind and ocean currents are the emission-free sources of a new low-carbon industry, reducing the use of fossil fuels.

Green energy

Green Hydrogen (gH2) and Green Ammonia (gNH3) are the energies of tomorrow for a new low carbon industry.

Innovative projects

GHyGA’s 2W2H2® and 2W2NH3® projects propose major innovations to enable the energy transition.
